Kent thinks that I have an unhealthy attachment to a set of knives, but he's never tried to cut raw chicken breasts with cheap and dull knives. When we registered at stores before our wedding, I made sure to register for three or four sets at each place, and I got one! I love using my knives. And no, I don't have any dangerous tendencies. I just like to cook.

good knifes are great, i think it's funny i have two sets and i tend to use my dull ones more because they can go in the dishwasher the others i hand wash, & since i like my work to be as easy and little as posible i use the dull ones, i'm sad aren't I?
I wouldn't know what to do with a sharp set of knifes....I might hurt myself :} I think after 30 years of marriage I need a new set-
I need new knives - I am very envious of your set!
A good knife really makes a difference. And don't feel bad, I used to pet my Kitchenaid whn I first got it :).
