Last weekend, on Friday, we headed out to the city of New Braunfels and bought two day-passes to the Schlitterbahn water park. It was so cool! Uphill water slides, two-person water coasters, a surfing/boogie boarding wave pool... so much to do! We'd love to go again, but the tickets are quite expensive. $37.99 per person. It is a pretty big water park, for sure, but that's kind of a lot of money to us newlyweds. So maybe we'll wait until we have kids and come back in a few years. Yeah, because then we'll have even more tickets to pay for... hm.

I've heard of this place on the travel channel -- it looked pretty cool. And to be able to tell people, "ya, we went to the Schlitterbahn this weekend" will make you sound oh so cool. :)
I LOVE Schlitterbaun! It is so much fun. One of my favorite things was the tube river/slide where you go down all the waterfalls. I wonder how much a season pass is?
