So, what does a couple do for their one and only six month anniversary?? Get cupcakes, of course. Although we didn't get them until the day after our anniversary, and we didn't realize until today that they were for our anniversary.
We have real trouble remembering things.
But, as Kent said, at least both of us forgot so we didn't feel bad about the other person not remembering. And, the 50th anniversary is going to be a much bigger deal.

i also love cupcakes and have to admit there have been times we buy something or go somewhere fun and then count that as a birthday or father's day or some near by holiday celebration... it works most of the time but feels just right with a little plan and pretty big deal...I care more than Glen...I think that's just girls for you?? but anyway I'd say your ok with it for a six month and two day celebration :) ... I can't believe it's only been that long!!! Boy, I remember those days and looking at people who had been married for 10 years and thinking they were SO old or just feeling like that was so far away for us... but hear we are old and past the 10 year mark and it just happened in a blink I swear!!! it's so crazy... sounds like your having fun... congrats on the new job. We miss you!! The fireworks, parades, and annual camping trip won't be the same without you here... xoxo!
