in Utah

Nicholas and I spent the last 10 days in Utah.
It was beautiful, and not too cold. We must have brought some of Texas with us.

Nicholas got to watch the birds at the birdfeeder,
Play with Great-Grandma and Grandpa Murray,
Build towers and spell words with blocks,
Spend lots of time cuddling,
And he even learned to play the piano!
While we were gone, Kent successfully tore up our kitchen and entryway. We are going to be adventurous and install tile. Tile.

Luckily Kent's parents are here to help us.
"How long can it take?" Right?

It is always fun to spend time at "home." Nicholas is so cute and his hair is coming in fast. Luke is still pretty much bald on top.

One week. I think? You guys are brave to face that kind of disaster. But just think, in a few days you'll have beautiful, linoleum-free floors.

Glad to hear you had a nice visit back home. Brrr. It looks chilly to me!

Tile is not bad at all. It should be pretty quick. Just make sure the grout doesn't destroy your hands - wear gloves, as it is like sandpaper. And it looks like you had a great vacation!

Heidi, I saw my family at Thanksgiving, so it's been a few months, but it was so fun to see them again! With Nicholas growing and changing so fast, I wish I could visit even more often!
