A few months ago, Kent built me
this beautiful raised garden box.
Please excuse the weeds encircling my garden. One thing at a time.
On Saturday it was planting time
(still a shock to my Utah-raised mindset, where there's still two feet of snow covering the ground)
and so I planted.
Asparagus and strawberries.
And yet to come: squash, bush beans, carrots, and tomatoes.
I'm hoping they grow.

how exciting, hope it grows well!
Looks like great dirt...it should do just fine. =)
good luck with your garden! I did a garden for the first time ever last year and it turned out great! Here, we start planting on about March 15th . . . I better start planning.
How exciting! I really want to plant a garden this year, but I need our unseasonably cold weather to go away first :).
Why does dirt look like bliss to me? I think I am just a little kid who wants to make mud pies or something. Good luck!
Hope it grows. We need to get started on our garden as well.
