the ring that keeps coming back

(I remembered what I was going to post about!)

A year ago, when we had been married only 2 weeks:
Kent lost his wedding ring. See here.

We searched really hard. It seemed the ring was gone forever.

But (a miracle!) my mom found it,
just laying in the driveway on top of the snow.

Then, this winter, the story repeats.
Nearly word for word
(Except now we've been married a year, and I wasn't as worried about it and we didn't look as hard).

And I got a picture on my phone on Wednesday night--it was Kent's ring! My mom found it, just laying on top of the snow-flattened grass.

Amazing. Haunting.
Perhaps it is the "one ring to rule them all," and it calls to Kent.

My precious.

Glad you found it again. Maybe it's time to get it re-sized or have Kent wear it around his neck on a necklas instead:).

Whew! What a story. You really better watch Kent for signs of paranoia--maybe it IS the One Ring.

And I'm just bit disappointed that you remembered what you were going to write about before I could tell you to "Just blow on it and it will get finished."

ha ha... that's funny! Be glad it's not yours huh? Glen is on his third???? He definitely does not posses the gollum trick like Kent! :)or maybe it's your mom! :) either way, glad it is found!

wow - that is a weird/funny story! Maybe from now on Kent needs to always wear GLOVES when he's outside in the snow.

That is crazy! Well, I guess if you lose the ring again, you will know where to find it. By the way, what does Kent keep doing that his ring ends up in your parents' yard?

Best story ever! I love the connection! Great job! :) I'm glad Kent has his ring back so now girls won't him on him and they know he's yours. This is really diary worthy!

That is hilarious! I'm glad it was found. Kevin's ring got lost right about our first anniversary, but it was never found, since it happened while he was falling down a mountain in Park City (He fell out of the Alpine Slide - long story). His second one has lassted us seven years now and still going though :).
